The Main Event

The Asia Pacific Cup started as a four day basketball tournament for clubs, teams and schools located within the Asia Pacific Region. The event was originally run biannually but has become an annual event since 2016. From 2024, the tournament will move to a 5 day event to accommodate it’s growth.

From 2022, we will be running a FIBA Endorsed 3X3 event along side the FIBA Endorsed 5V5 event.

Who can join?

We welcome all competitive youth teams from the Asia Pacific region and beyond to register. Registering for the tournament does not guarantee a place. Typically we have more applications than places and we review all applications to ensure a very high standard of competition and sportsmanship. Teams from Singapore will be given access if they can help secure venues to use in the competition or if we have space for them after finalising International teams first.

Age Groups

From 2024, the Asia Pacific Cup will provide competition for Under 12, Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18 age groups for both girls and boys.

Organizer and our Vision

The 11th edition of the Asia Pacific Cup 2024 is organized by SG Basketball Pte Ltd, a Singapore registered company which  specializes  in youth sports programs, camps, leagues and events since 2006.

Our aim is to inspire young people to lead richer lives by creating positive sporting experiences for them.

Our vision is to be the partner of choice for youth sports development in Singapore and the Asia Pacific region.
