Welcome to the 7th Asia Pacific Cup 2018
The 7th Asia Pacific Youth Basketball Cup will run from Thursday 18 to Sunday 21 October, 2018. As well as teams from the 8 nations including Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Philippines, Thailand and Singapore that attended in 2017, we now have interest from Malaysia, Guam, New Zealand, Sweden, Germany, Serbia, USA and (can someone tell me where these are), the Northern Mariana Islands
The 6th Asia Pacific Youth Basketball Cup hosted 74 teams and over 850 players from 8 nations including Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Philippines, Thailand and Singapore.
At the Tournament in 2017, we were all impressed with the high standard of competition, sportsmanship and astounding behaviour displayed by all players across all games. It was evident that all players enjoyed meeting teams and players from other countries and many new friendships were formed.
John McAuliffe and Ulli Niedermeyer would like to formally take the opportunity to sincerely thank all the players, club, coaches and parents for their support during the Asia Pacific Basketball Cup 2017 and hope to see returning and new teams in 2018.
Thank you and we hope to see you at our next Asia Pacific Basketball Youth Cup!
